Cobham Explorer 710 Satellite BGAN Internet Data Terminal
Inmarsat offers their latest world’s smallest and lightest Class 1 BGAN, the Explorer 710 terminal. The first platform to make use of new high data rate streaming as standard. The Explorer 710 is positioned to support broadcasters in enhancing the quality of mobile outside broadcasting. This terminal also includes several advanced new features, including the ability to bond the signals from multiple terminals via Ethernet and achieve IP streaming rate of 1 Mbps or even higher.

The remarkable Explorer 710 also introduces Smart Phone applications to the world of BGAN connectivity, enabling users to connect their own devices for voice calling and connectivity. With this terminal you can connect your phone, laptop smartphone or tablet and be online so fast by just pointing the terminal’s antenna to the Inmarsat satellite and pressing some buttons. You can have quick access to internet browsing, email, live video, phone services, broadcasting, large file transfers, broadcasting, video conferencing, and streaming.
Other features include a large LED display, which facilitates set-up and configuration without being connected to a PC, Smart Phone or tablet.

Special Note: The Explorer 710 provides streaming rates over 650 kbps out of the box, when using the new high data rate streaming service to be introduced by Inmarsat in Q3 this year. Available in September 2013, EXPLORER 710 enables the fastest on-demand video streaming via satellite with guaranteed QoS.

Provides streaming rates over 650 kbps out of the box, when using new high data rate streaming, the Global Express. With the Explorer710, you can leverage the fastest on-demand video streaming via satellite with guaranteed QoS to enhance the quality of live broadcasts and remote communication.
Uniquely, the Explorer 710 has the ability to bond the signals from multiple EXPLORER 710 terminals via Ethernet to achieve IP streaming rates of 1 Mbps or even higher - closer to standard definition broadcast quality.

BGAN Cobham Explorer 710 Airtime Options
Inmarsat BGAN Prepaid Plans: Purchase a specific number of units that can be used for voice or data, that will be available for 2 years and you can reload the sim card with more units at any time.
Inmarsat BGAN Monthly Plans: Pay a monthly service fee and for the airtime you use. If you don’t use any voice or data, you will only have to pay for the monthly subscription.
